Our ESPY33 tool used in EU Nanowires project! https://lnkd.in/epzkTqpA Piezoelectric energy harvesting is a renewable-energy-harvesting technology that refers to the capturing of energy from mechanical vibration and converting it into electrical energy to power nano- and micro-scale devices that do not have access to an external power supply. In work recently published, we present traceable measurements of the piezoelectric response of pattterned devices, taken at the nanoscale by our EU partners and at the device-macroscale by Electrosciences new ESPY33 instrument. The paper is entitled 'The area-selective growth of zinc oxide nanowire (NW) arrays on patterned surfaces of a silicon (Si) substrate for a piezoelectric nanogenerator (PENG)' and can be freely downloaded. https://lnkd.in/eHJtjQrH
