Our Clients "I am posting this to say I have been hugely impressed by the insightful support I have received from Marian in terms of both personal development and life coaching. We have covered a range of areas including leadership style and team building providing a range of tools and techniques to facilitate this. We have had a number of sessions and I always come away feeling positive and energised. The sessions are also relaxed and she allows you to talk in a confidential and open way." Feature Friday is here! Learn what some of my clients have been working through - AND tactics that have worked for them. 'Sue' was recently promoted into a new role. She had pretty high expectations of what leadership 'should' be (hint - 'should' is an important word to explore with your coach!). She was lacking some confidence, and some key leadership skills. One of the solutions was identifying a specific training area of leadership that she felt she wanted to improve. Then she invested time into training and secured a mentor to help build both skill and confidence. The result? A confident leader who was focused on delivering organizational results (not mired in self doubt, and spending evenings / weekends worrying!).

Leadership isn't about being the loudest—it’s about inspiring others through action. Martial arts encourages many neurodivergent individuals to take on leadership roles, whether by assisting others in their learning journey or through their own progress. Programs like ours have shown that neurodivergent individuals who engage in martial arts develop stronger communication and leadership abilities. These skills ripple outward, creating positive influences and empowerment within their communities. Just ask the students at Life College in Irvine, California… www.btateam.org #LifeCollege #Neurodiversity #Mentorship #Leadersoftomorrow #Martialarts #Empowerment #Diversity #Inclusion

Leadership takes many forms, starting from the small scale of guiding your children. Whether leading at home or in the workplace, the principles remain constant: coaching, mentoring, providing direction, focusing on positives, tackling negatives, but above all, showing care. It's not always easy, but it is undeniably fulfilling. Leadership is about making a positive impact, no matter the context.

“Leadership styles are broken down into four different categories of behaviors that are either high or low in either directive or supportive styles: Directing, coaching, supporting and delegating (PSU WC, 2016). Each one determines what style needs to be used based on the situation that is presented and the four different developmental level of the follower.” No best leadership style, the best leadership style depends on the situation.💬 https://lnkd.in/dkzKfM4J

In my experience, one of the best ways to build leadership in your teams is through building relationships. That's why I'm such a big proponent of mentorship and coaching. When you step in to become a champion for someone else, you empower them to grow and shine in incredible ways (and often in ways you might not have expected!). #WomenInLeadership #Mentorship #LeadershipCoaching
