Here is a sneak peek into my typical #jobsearchchronicles day. The general advice is to apply to a couple of positions and walk away. And I get it. But I am using multiple job sites and noticed that the same companies are posting to all of them. So I created my handy, dandy notebook! The first page is a spreadsheet of all the companies I’ve sent my resume to and the pertinent details I need to track the progress of each. Behind that are company information sheets I’m using to further research my top picks. It’s a system that won’t work for everyone, but it speaks to me and helps me stay on top of things.
