Day 2: Holiday Leadership Lessons - Is your team as ecstatic to see you as Buddy the Elf was to see Santa? Okay.......maybe we can't expect them to jump up and down and scream your name, but we can be a leader that people are excited to be around! What leadership traits can we learn from Santa: 🎅 Santa had a CLEAR MISSION and VISION of spreading joy and he INSPIRED others to do the same. 🎅 Santa's success depended on his elves and his reindeer. He DELEGATED important tasks, EMPOWERED his team, and TRUSTED it would be done. 🎅 Santa shows up every year without fail! He is CONSISTENT in his actions. 🎅 Santa tailors each gift and personalizes each interaction. He UNDERSTANDS the STRENGTHS of his team and places them in the right spot, just like putting Rudolph right up front with his shiny nose. 🎅 Santa is delivering millions of gifts each year, which takes a lot of PLANNING, and ADAPTABILITY so he can handle unforeseen challenges. 🎅 Santa exudes WARMTH, KINDNESS and POSITIVITY, and the elves felt valued and appreciated. Be a leader that fosters a spirit of collaboration, trust, and joy, and maybe someone will be as excited to see you as Buddy the Elf was to see Santa. https://lnkd.in/e98g2zrX

🎉 100 Days of Consistency, Strategy, and Victory! ♟️ Today marks a significant milestone: 100 days of winning streaks in the Queen's Game! What started as a casual engagement turned into a journey of persistence, strategic thinking, and a daily commitment to improve. This journey has taught me invaluable lessons: 1️⃣ The Power of Consistency: Small, daily actions lead to extraordinary results. 2️⃣ Strategic Thinking: Every move matters, whether on a chessboard or in life. 3️⃣ Community Engagement: The support, camaraderie, and challenges from fellow players made this experience even more rewarding. To everyone striving for their own "100 days" in whatever pursuit—keep going! The journey is as rewarding as the destination. What’s the next challenge? Let’s find out together. 🚀 #WinningStreak #ChessLife #StrategyMatters #LinkedInAchievements

Absolutely thrilled and proud to have completed the Eviden Cultural Leadership Program. It was a unique learning experience, and I’d love to share why. Some elements were reminiscent of my studies from nearly two decades ago. However, what's different now? Two decades of professional experience and the opportunity for a well-facilitated recap. This program made me reflect on past scenarios and consider how I might handle them differently today, giving me fresh insights on how to approach future challenges, much like the "Red Queen's race." Thank you Steve Midgley for your congrats. PS.: For security reasons, the certificate has been altered, the signatures have been removed. PPS.: What's the Red Queen's Race? The **Red Queen's race** is a concept from Lewis Carroll's book "Through the Looking-Glass," where the Red Queen tells Alice, "Now, here, you see, it takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!" In evolutionary biology, this idea is known as the **Red Queen Hypothesis** It suggests that species must constantly adapt and evolve not just to gain an advantage, but simply to survive in the face of ever-evolving opposing species, like a never-ending race #culturalleadership

Brothers, let's cut to the chase. As men in today's world, we're constantly caught in a tug-of-war between our desire to lead with servant-hearted love and the pressure to chase success at any cost. It's a tension that can leave us feeling stuck, conflicted, and unfulfilled. But what if there was a way to navigate this struggle with clarity, conviction, and a sense of greater purpose? What if you could break free from the "me first" mentality and embrace a leadership style that aligns with the very heart of Jesus? That's exactly what we'll be tackling head-on at the upcoming "Anointed and Fearless" men's conference. In our session on "The Heart of a Servant Leader," we won't just scratch the surface – we'll dive deep into the core questions that keep you up at night: How can I resist the temptation of self-promotion and lead with genuine humility? What does it look like to choose the path of sacrificial service, even when it goes against the grain? How can I find purpose, joy, and fulfillment in pouring out my life for others? This won't be just another feel-good pep talk. We'll wrestle with the real costs and challenges of servant leadership, but also the immeasurable rewards. You'll walk away with practical strategies for aligning your leadership with the example of Jesus and cultivating a heart that puts others first. Most importantly, you'll be part of a band of brothers who are choosing to reject the status quo and embrace a higher calling. As iron sharpens iron, we'll challenge and encourage each other to lead like the ultimate Servant Leader. Don't miss this opportunity to revolutionize your perspective, reignite your passion, and set a new trajectory for your leadership impact. Your family, your workplace, your community – they need you to lead with the heart of a servant. Join us at "Anointed and Fearless," and seize the purpose, power, and peace that come from leading like Jesus. It's a decision you won't regret. https://fb.me/e/4muA2NTuZ

Happy to share a short video in front of Edinburgh Castle in Scotland on “Bravery”, which is a famous quality of the Scottish people. This is part of the “Away With Avi” series of videos shot when I travel to interesting places, meet interesting people and share interesting insights :) “Away With Avi” is also an experiential travel leadership mentorship program where I travel with and mentor a carefully curated group of unique & creative people who join me in exotic destinations internationally to explore, interact, ideate, enjoy, relax, recharge, learn and transform perspectives ! In this video I share 5 ways to be Brave using the acronym B.R.A.V.E.! B : Belief - when you don’t know what’s going to happen, Believe in yourself, your purpose, a higher power that guides you from within, or simply believe that things will be better! R : Resilience - develop an inner strength and ability to bounce-back from all setbacks and difficulties, knowing that whatever happens you are Resilient and you can handle it! A : Adaptiveness - never give up, no matter what the challenges may be because when you Adapt with creativity, you either find a way or you make one and are never stuck! V : Victory Orientation - those with the greatest hunger to win the game usually are most driven to do so regardless of obstacles. A burning desire for Victory becomes the fuel for courage! E: Execution - action must be taken in the direction of the fear and even despite the fear. The only way to go beyond fear is to go through it. Often, Execution reveals to us that the actual risk is much smalller than the imagined risk or fear! Hope this was a nice little reminder to gently push yourself to be BRAVE where you need to be!! #makehappinessgoviral #metamind #metamindalignment #metaskills #leadershipandhappiness #UK #AwayWithAvi #Scotland #travel #alignmentcoaching #courage #AlignmentAlchemist #HappinessCentricLeadership #avinashananda

If you are sitting in Buckingham Palace right now As King or Queen, Sipping a cup of tea, Feeling rather chuffed with yourself, Because you have achieved a certain level of success. That is a rather dangerous place to be. You will either stay the same or go backward. I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news. However, you must know you are engineered for success. You have within you a servo mechanism that is dying to serve you. You are a creative being. If you are not in the process of creating, you will go backward. You will become a drifter because you open your mind to the thought mass, filled with fear, doubt, and worry. Their thoughts will become your thoughts. Recently, I had a conversation with the CEO of an airline. This executive announced that he was happy with the level of success he had achieved both personally and professionally. He didn’t want for more. I informed him of the above facts. Unfortunately, his mind was too closed to internalize this information. I encouraged him to keep creating another goal with a new self-image. We can always be doing better. #mindset #mindsetmatters #goals #selfimage #drifter #creation #success #ceos #excutives #founders #womenleaders #womeninbusiness #womenempoweringwomen #realestatebroker #managers #realtors #coaches

Sometimes Leadership Means Sacrificing Your Queen In chess, the most brutal move differs from the one that costs you a pawn. It's the one that costs you your queen. Even when you know it's the right move. Even when it's the only move. Especially when it hurts. Yesterday, I made the hardest decision of my life. Not because I wanted to. But because wisdom demanded what my heart refused to accept. After 7 years. After 18 months of growth work. After exhausting every other option. Sometimes, love isn't enough. Authentic leadership isn't about the victories. It's about: • Making impossible choices while others watch • Staying present when you want to hide • Choosing wisdom over want • Being vulnerable when you feel broken I've shared the full, raw story in The Stronghold community. Every tear. Every doubt. Every painful detail. Why? Because somewhere out there, a veteran is facing their own impossible choice. And they need to see what it looks like to: • Lead through crisis • Choose growth over comfort • Stay authentic in pain • Find strength in the community My name is Adam Peters, and I'm here to be the guy I didn't have when I was transitioning - someone who shows you what authentic leadership looks like, even on the most challenging days. The whole story is in The Stronghold. Link in comments. #VeteranTransition #AuthenticLeadership #TheStrategicVeteran #RealTalk #7dash8

Are you a squire, rogue, crusader, or chevalier? Consider your working conditions for a moment. Do you feel you are on a healthy and supportive team? Are you excited to come to work? Is your leader an example of honor and caring? Or are you dealing with someone who cares about the mission, but not the grind. And what about your own motivation? Are you highly motivated? How is the environment, the support, your leadership making you feel? Chevaliers are highly supported in a healthy environment and are highly motivated. They work to support their leader and team. They care for those around them because they are cared for. Crusaders lack support, tend to acknowledge the difficulty of their environment, but because of their motivation are willing to "suffer" the situation for the good of the cause. Rogues aren't particularly motivated. They'd rather spend their time pursing their own interests rather than the interest of others or the greater good. But boy do they like the good life... And squires are faced with hardship of environment and cannot find the motivation to change the situation. They will do what they must to survive the situation, but cannot be expected to do more... And do you know who is responsible? You. My Challenge to you - #BeCourageous and dream big. Be William Thatcher and do more than just dream of becoming a knight. Take hold the reigns of your life and do everything you can to make your reality.
