🎉Celebrating Innovation: 40 years of Elmos’ vision – Ongoing improvement of wafer production This year we celebrate our 40th anniversary at #Elmos, and we would like to use this occasion to take you on a journey through 4 decades of innovations, memories and events, full of change and continuous improvement. It has been 40 years of growth, from a small startup to the company we are today. 📅 1995-1998: Conversion from 4-inch to 6-inch wafers Production at Elmos has already been expanded twice in recent years. Now a third expansion is imminent. At the same time, the first large and important improvement for wafer production is being taken: the changeover from 4-inch to 6-inch wafers in order to be able to manufacture series products more cost-efficiently and to meet the increasing demand for Elmos products. A major challenge is the changeover during ongoing production. Our long-standing employee Andreas Nebeling also remembers this challenge: “We organized the conversion with the entire Fab team, while production was fully operational.” 🚀 Stay tuned to hear Andreas’ and other employee voices in the upcoming episodes of our journey through time. #CelebratingInnovation #Anniversary #Automotive #Semiconductor #InnovationMatters #AnalogMixedSignalExperts
Congratulations Elmos !!!
Wirklich spannend!
Glückwunsch!
Reinhard Senf - the three people (from the picture)that I dealt with and know very since the 90s - your good self - Reinhard, Knut & Dr Klaus Weyer. Good old days when Semiconductor was kings. After 30+ years, it seems that the Semiconductor going to restart its heyday and be a king again. Thanks to the AI and high power WBG (wide band gap). I do miss the good old days and lucky enough to still be in the semiconductor world again.
