I’ve been amazed to see what can happen when businesses prioritize their responsibility to their communities. At the end of the day, there’s potential to uplift the surrounding community, the business, and the people in both. Research shows that 70% of employees feel more engaged when their company is involved in community initiatives. By approaching local communities with an open mind and a willingness to learn, businesses can build trust and foster meaningful relationships. To me, there's nothing more important than earning and maintaining the trust of teams and communities. I have been working with public libraries for a long time and currently about half of my clients are public libraries. I work with the CEOs, boards, and senior management as a leadership coach and as a facilitator for team gatherings, strategic discussions, and board development.
