What sparked Timo's interest in event logistics? I've been a 'truck guy' since I was a kid, and my dream job as a truck driver led me to years in road transport. Later, I transitioned to a dispatcher role, gaining experience in the terminals and warehouses of major logistics companies. In 2007, a chance encounter at the Alihankinta trade fair ignited my interest in event logistics and its challenges. What fascinates me about event logistics is the fast pace and variety of projects—each event is different, and the challenges keep the work exciting. I'm passionate about my job and proud of my ability to exceed customer expectations. Although the work is demanding and fast-paced, the joy of a successful project motivates me to take on even greater challenges. During that time I already got the chance to work at airports such as Hamburg, Cologne and Riga. After the program I became a Terminal Manager at Vienna Airport. After only one year my journey continued and I became MD of the “Gebr. Heinemann Regional Airports Ltd”, which ran our shops at the Austrian airports of Salzburg, Linz and Graz. Afterwards I moved on to Munich airport, and then on to Italy where I took over the responsibility of our Italian business which then consisted of the airports Bologna, Pisa, Turin and Catania. Six years ago then, I had the chance to come back to Austria where I became the MD of Heinemann Austria, running our shops at the airports of Vienna, Salzburg and Graz.   𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐧?   The very high degree of mutual trust, appreciation and positivity.
