Dense breasts, which are more likely to present in Asian women compared to Caucasian women, is a risk factor for developing breast cancer. Recently, a team led by Professor Kartini Rahmat conducted the first Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) study of ABUS designed to assess the performance of the Invenia™ ABUS as an adjunct to digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT).
