Last year after the National Insurance Employers Contribution went up we realised that this would put a lot of pressure on businesses. And ultimately apprenticeships could be seen as a way to help solve it. So we dug deeper to make sure it was genuine and it turns out ANYONE on an apprenticeship the employer does not have to pay national insurance employer contributions. Remember we have entry level apprenticeships and higher level apprenticeships for current members of staffs. Rules still apply. So this is legitimately a great way for employers to support their staff, potentially bring on new staff and save money. How much? - we did the sums for you: https://lnkd.in/eHXw8ggg

A significant support mechanism for businesses engaging in apprenticeships is the Apprenticeship Levy, introduced by the government in April 2017. 💹 Levy-paying employers contribute 0.5% of their payroll to the levy, with a 10% top-up provided by the government. These funds can be utilised for apprenticeship training and assessment, offering financial incentives for businesses to invest in workforce development. Unused funds expire after 24 months. So contact us now to understand how you can leverage the Apprenticeship Levy to enhance your talent development strategies while maximising returns on investment in workforce development. #apprenticeships #apprentice #london #levy #levytransfer
