When Your Client Knows Too Much ... . . Team, you know the moment. You’re giving your polished pitch in the showroom, showcasing a beautiful piece, and the client interrupts: “Oh, I saw this at Salone del Mobile last year in Hall 5. It was displayed in the central pavilion, with soft amber lighting that really enhanced the stitching detail. By the way, isn’t this the piece the designer conceptualized during their trip to Tuscany while sipping espresso and eating a croissant?” ☕🥐 Wait… what?! Yes, we’ve all met that client - the one who knows so much, and it feels like they’ve been living and breathing the brand. They’re the ones who: 🔍 Memorize every detail from last year’s catalog, down to the millimeter. 🛋️ Casually drop comments like, “This table? Isn’t it available in walnut veneer from the 2021 seasonal collection? The discontinued one?” 💬 Can talk about the designer’s breakfast inspiration while you’re still explaining the chair’s ergonomic design. At first, it’s a bit intimidating and, let’s admit, a lot dramatic. But let’s take a moment to appreciate what’s really happening here. Their passion is our industry’s greatest compliment. When someone walks in knowing “too much,” they’re not just a client; they’re a connoisseur, a fellow enthusiast who shares our obsession with detail, design, and perfection. Yes, it’s funny when they know the lead time off the top of their head (“That’ll be 8-12 weeks, but production slows in August, right?”), or when they quote catalog pages, we forget they existed. But these clients also push us to raise the bar, bringing our expertise to the next level and reminding us why we love what we do. So, next time someone references the exact booth lighting in Milan or the breakfast habits of a designer, don’t panic. Lean into the conversation, embrace the passion, and let’s prove why we’re the best team in the Design District. #LuxuryDesign #DohaDesignDistrict #DubaiDesignDistrict #d3 #InteriorExperts #LuxuryClients #SaloneDelMobile #HighEndFurniture #Craftsmanship #LuxurySales #DesignerLife #ModernLuxury #PassionForDesign

A conversation like this brings joy to my heart.. I wish we witness and encounter more of these people. For me it is a very good sign as it means they have the right product education and it makes it easier. I def agree with you on raising the bar and being updated with everything related to what we provide.
