Last week, FareHarbor had the pleasure of participating in TTG Rimini 2024, one of the key events for the tourism sector in Italy. During the event, we had the opportunity to connect with industry professionals, discuss the latest trends, and explore new opportunities to innovate and enhance the travel booking experience. According to a Confcommercio-Imprese per l'Italia analysis, the Italian tourism industry continues to record impressive figures. 📌 In 2023, the tourism balance sheet showed a net surplus of over €26 billion, and in the first seven months of 2024, there was a further 2% increase. 📌 This summer saw almost €12 billion spent by foreign tourists, highlighting Italy’s growing appeal. 📌 While domestic tourism saw a slight decline in local visitors (-0.8% over the summer), international arrivals compensated with a 4% increase. 📌 Overall, a 1.6% growth is forecasted for the summer season of 2024. 📌 Autumn projections are just as optimistic: over 58% of hotel rooms for October have already been booked, and demand for November and December is strong, with 45% of rooms already sold. We are excited to contribute to this success and work together with our partners to make travel experiences even more memorable! ✈️✈️✈️ #Fareharbor #TTG2024 #ItalianTourism #TravelTech #Rimini #DigitalTourism
