As I wrap up my first month at DealPotential, I can’t help but feel grateful for the amazing team that has made this journey so much smoother. Their support has really helped me handle the challenges that come with my new role. Here are a few highlights from my adventure so far: 🤝 Brainstorming with Andela Cvetinovic: Collaborating with Angela has been a blast! Our backgrounds in machine learning complement each other perfectly, and together, we’re excited to bring the Signals feature to life. 📈 Seeing Progress: It’s been rewarding to watch our projects take shape and stay on track. Every small victory feels like a big win and the team celebrates it! ❓ Curiosity at Work: I’ve been diving into the details and asking a lot of 'How does X work?' questions. Understanding the nuances is crucial for me—it’s all about improvement. 🎮 Weekly Hangouts: The highlight of my week is our team hangout, where we not only unwind and play games together but also get to know each other! Being in such a welcoming environment where questions are encouraged and learning is part of every day is truly inspiring. I’m excited about what lies ahead! Here is to many more months! 🚀

Unpopular opinion… you can have it all… most of the time 💜 Entering week three of Techstars Atlanta Powered by Cox Enterprises I feel rested, prepared, and ready for Monday. Here’s why: 1. Rest: I truly took time to unwind on Friday evening and Saturday morning. 2. Joy: I did something that brought me joy, completely unrelated to LiQUiD . I believe in balancing hard work, rest, and adventure. (☑️ off a bucket list item: I took a solo cooking class with Cozymeal, Inc. !) 3. Preparation: I prepared for the week ahead. This included meal prepping, setting goals, clearing my emails, and getting grounded. Finding this balance has been key to feeling ready and energized. 💜

Hard truth for most early-stage founders on here: Nobody knows who you are. So you can't be precious about posting cadence. "I'll test posting 1x per week" Good luck! Instead: You need to ramp up VOLUME. The companies that don’t understand this will get left behind. Too many founders are afraid of posting too much. They should be afraid of nobody knowing who they are. You earn the right to focus on “quality over quantity.”

Brain dump: In tech companies, I’ve found that what truly makes someone stand out isn’t just the experience they bring, but their aptitude and effort. When teams operate at a large scale, the challenges and tools are constantly evolving. Those who thrive are often the ones with a strong drive to learn, adapt, and engage with complex problems, regardless of their previous job titles. I’ve seen talented colleagues, sometimes new to the tech space, excel by embracing change and staying curious. In this industry, success is often less about how long you’ve been around and more about how you approach what’s next. So, if you’re stepping into a new role at a scaled tech company: bring your curiosity, your commitment to problem-solving, and a collaborative spirit. It’s not just about where you’ve been. We all started somewhere else.
