Dubai is indeed a hot spot for many experienced professionals all over the world. There's a lot of talk about moving here, but I don’t think all these people really thought it through. 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪? Packing your bags and selling your belongings is one thing. Being mentally, financially, and practically prepared is another story. Visas, housing, and day-to-day logistics are manageable, but that's just the surface. The real challenge goes deeper. If you're married, with/without kids, have you had serious talks? Does everyone understand what it means for the family as a whole? Is everyone indeed on board for the transition to another country? While one person is relocating for a job, the family will experience the change differently. 𝙎𝙤, 𝙞𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪'𝙧𝙚 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙩, 𝙜𝙤 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙥: Get everyone on board about your plan. Why? When? How? Agree on foundational aspects and translate that into clear answers. Get those answers ready to make things clear for hiring teams. Many companies are open to relocating professionals worldwide, but they will always avoid people who lack clarity in their plans beyond the job. You can be great at the job, but without a solid relocation plan, you represent a higher risk in terms of relocation timeline and readiness to sign. Businesses are responsible for having you excited about the opportunity. They are responsible for making your logistical transition smooth. But they won’t force things on you if you’re not ready yet. #Dubai #Relocation #Expatriation

3 Common Misconceptions About Dubai 1. Getting a residency permit in Dubai is impossible Of course, this is a myth! It is effortless to get a residence permit in Dubai. More precisely, a visa for permanent residence. There are a few simple ways to get a visa or residence permit, as you like to call it. a. The UAE government has introduced renewable 10-year visas for Investors, Doctors, as well as special talents which has paved the way for expats to commit their long-term future to Dubai. b. Buy real estate worth AED 750K or AED 2 million and get the investor or golden visa which gives you residency for 3-10 years, so getting a residence permit is not that difficult. 2. Everything in Dubai is very expensive Yes, it's certainly more expensive to live in Dubai, but Dubai has a very wide range of prices. You can, for example, you can go to a restaurant and eat for 100 dirhams or you can go to a restaurant and buy a bottle of water for 200 dirhams. This is a city with a lot of high net-worth individuals, so there are a lot of expensive services. But that doesn't exclude the presence of decent inexpensive restaurants and groceries. 3. In Dubai it is impossible to sell an apartment In general, people who say such things are divided into two types. To be honest, the first bought nothing more expensive than a winter jacket and argued from their couch about a bad investment. The second invested but got the wrong realtors to guide and advise them in making a profitable decision. But let's get this straight. If you have a good location and an adequate price in the market, and you bought the property at the right time upon receiving in-depth information about the development, then apartments sell within days if not in 1 week.

Dubai gets ‘Work Bundle’ platform to simplify visa process As per the latest development, the UAE has launched a new platform that will reduce the processing time for completing all the necessary documents to acquire work permits and residency visas. If reports are to go by, it will significantly reduce the time frame from almost one month to just five days, thanks to the newly launched Work Bundle platform. It’s first rolled out in Dubai, which will be gradually implemented in other emirates. The integrated procedure will not only help streamline the process, but will also cut down the required documents from 16 to just five. Additionally, the number of visits to service centers has been reduced from seven to only two, as announced by officials during a press conference. https://lnkd.in/gXy7VBYa #dubai #dubaiairports #workbundle #visa #visaprocess #uae #workpermit #residency #visas #dubai #travel #traveling #traveladvisor #travelindustry #travelagent TraveLICE TraveLICE Customercare
