Today I am feeling super proud to be part of an Employee Ownership Trust! Last night I had the pleasure of attending the Salad South Coast EO Networking Event. Connecting with fellow professionals and listening to the panellists who share a passion for employee ownership was truly enlightening. Employee ownership is more than just a business model; it’s a movement towards creating more inclusive, motivated, and sustainable workplaces. Events like these reinforce the importance of collaboration and continuous learning in driving our companies forward. For me, joining an employee ownership trust has been a transformative experience. I’m not sure I really knew what to expect at the beginning, but being part of a company where every employee has a stake in the success feels refreshing and really does create an amazing sense of community and shared purpose. Being part of an employee-owned business means we are not just working for profit, but also for the greater good. Blue Sky Financial Planning Ltd is committed to sustainable practices, community engagement, and ethical business operations. Together, we are making a positive impact to Dorset’s vibrant business community. If you’re considering a career move, I highly recommend looking into employee-owned companies. It’s a decision that has truly enriched my professional life. #EmployeeOwnership #BusinessForGood #CareerGrowth #WorkplaceCulture #Sustainability #Networking
Inspiring and energising words Emma. You are so right: it's more than just business, it's people and it's about being purposeful which is clearly a tide of change that is coming (or already here). It's brilliant to hear you say here what it means to you, and to feel the pride in your words ❤️

4moGreat post Emma! When you came to the last event you had just joined Blue Sky and were getting to grips with the employee-element. It's amazing to read what the last few months have meant to you and how connected you feel to the EO model and ethos. I love and agree with your point about it creating more inclusive, motivated, and sustainable workplaces. I too feel lucky to be part of this movement and excited at the possibility it brings!
