To truly 💞 embrace sustainability 💞 , one must first believe in it and nurture a genuine love for it. Loving it means understanding it, and understanding begins with education. With this belief at the heart of our work, we are deeply grateful to Headmaster Mr. Joshua AK Meling of SK Binsulung, Paitan, for inviting us to share the principles of sustainability—not just with his students but also with teachers and parents in the community. The two-day event in early November provided Forest Solutions with a meaningful opportunity to connect with over 400 participants. Through interactive exhibits, educational games, and hands-on activities where children learned through play, we covered vital topics such as environmental awareness, sustainable forest management, and industrial tree plantations. The event culminated in a tree-planting session—a symbolic step toward a greener future. The response was both encouraging and inspiring. Students were curious, engaged, and full of thoughtful questions about the environment. Parents and teachers showed genuine interest in the topics discussed, highlighting the importance of fostering sustainability across generations. Under Mr. Joshua’s leadership, SK Binsulung has become a shining example of how schools can nurture a love for sustainability within their communities. A common question raised during the event was the choice of Eucalyptus pellita for planting—a topic we gladly addressed, which can also be explored further in this link: https://lnkd.in/gA_KQvyx For our team, it was two days of hard work but also immense fulfilment. We left tired yet recharged by the energy and enthusiasm of everyone involved.
