How can I create a successful culture in my organization?
Everyone wants a great culture, but how do we define that, and how do we create and cultivate great culture?
While not always easy, follow these steps.
Clearly define your organizations mission statement.
Create a sense of purpose for your teams.
Tie the mission statement to the purpose, make your team aware of their personal impact and contributions to the successful implementation and execution of the mission.
Invest in your teams continued education and success, encourage their personal growth and advancement.
Live, breathe, walk that mission statement every single day.
Have a vision for the mission and create a very clear picture for your team how they fit into and achieve that mission.
What else would you add?
Walk the walk, talk the talk, don't have a statement or saying on your wall, in your orientation material, or elsewhere, that is ultimately meaningless because it is not lived in reality in the daily operation of your organization.
