Inspired by the #suboccipitaldecompression technique described by Andrea Trescot, MD and Gabor Racz, I started implanting Curonix PNS leads in the same space in patients that got temporary relief with the suboccipital decompression procedure. These patients do incredibly well with this placement and several are now over 5 years out with little to no follow up needed. Now, with data provided by Matthias H. Wiederholz, MD, MS, we have further evidence supporting its success.
