Following our exciting presentation of Flexidao’s solution at the The White House in May, we were honored to present once again to White House and administration officials this month, focusing on the 45V initiative and how our solution can serve hydrogen producers. 💫 We proudly showcased how we are able to create Granular Certificates in line with the EnergyTag standard. By integrating existing Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) with detailed hourly production data, our solution operates seamlessly with current capabilities and systems, adaptable for any bilateral contracts. We demonstrated the rigorous validation process we implement to ensure the reliability of these certificates. This provides a robust and auditable evidence system, crucial for distributing tax credits to hydrogen producers who need to report their renewable consumption accurately. 🔍 It is heartening to see the potential of GC’s getting recognized by officials in The White House. THE FUTURE IS GREEN A few decades ago, renewable energy experts only pitched hydrogen as a fossil fuel alternative for transport. Today, carbon-neutral dreamers believe it’s the glue that holds the green revolution together and it has the potential to deliver critical functions for a new energy world. It is systemic role for hydrogen, in essentially being the vehicle through which renewable energy can be moved, that means this time is fundamentally different for hydrogen. Thirty, 40 or even 70 years ago, it was imagined that the fuel could be employed for specific end uses—to power an aeroplane, for example. That meant hydrogen had to compete with any number of alternatives, often more established and cheaper. It was a steep road to climb. Now, those specific end uses are the lowest in terms of importance for hydrogen consumption. 3moThis is precisely why we have focused on developing our projects in the USA as co-location initiatives, integrating onsite renewable power generation, energy storage, and consumption to produce 100% green hydrogen in close proximity to each other as neighboring facilities. Our approach aligns with all 3 pillars of the IRA Section 45V, allowing us to qualify for the full $3.00/kg credit. We aim to produce up to 365,000 mtpa (1,000 mtpd) of fully certified green hydrogen, using a verified and secure process like H2onChain.
