Determining how much information to give in a document: Sometimes it becomes challenging to stop ourselves from pouring the information in the document. But sharing over-information can turn into a nightmare, on the other hand, information deficient document is again not useful. Here are few tips that I follow to determine the optimal level of detail in a document: 1.) Knowing the audience (end-user) 2.) Determining the purpose of document 3.) Considering the complexity of the topic 4.) Using examples and visuals 5.) Testing the document 6.)
