As a Sandler Sales Coach, I often reflect on the importance of creating your own fuel. During a recent 1:1 coaching session, a talented sales leader posed a profound question: "John, how do you weather so much adversity?" It was a loaded question—and one I know resonates with many in sales. In our profession, we face rejection daily. We challenge prospects to confront the implications of their status quo, uncover and quantify their pain, and often carry a greater conviction than they do about achieving a better future. It's a demanding role, and relying solely on external wins for motivation is not sustainable. The true test lies in turning adversity into fuel. How do you transform less favorable circumstances into the energy needed to propel your purpose forward? How do you anchor yourself in your "why" when doubt and fear inevitably creep in? For me, it's about mindset and resilience. I remind myself that adversity is part of the process—it sharpens skills, strengthens resolve, and builds character. Every challenge holds a lesson, and every setback can fuel growth if you choose to see it that way. Creating your own fuel is not easy, but it's essential. And when you master it, you'll find that adversity doesn't just test you—it empowers you. What strategies do you use to stay fueled during challenging times? Let's start a conversation.

What is the Sales Blueprint and Why is it Different than Anything Else You've Tried? Spots Already Moving in for the Sales Blueprint One person grabbed a copy of the Google Doc last night, which potentially means only one left. The Sales Blueprint is a transformative 30-day coaching intensive that combines my extensive experience in sales training, subconscious rewiring techniques, and emotional clearing to explode your sales results. This comprehensive program is designed to help sales professionals and business owners like you overcome subconscious blocks, align your energy with your sales goals, and master advanced sales strategies. It's unique because it's the only 1:1 coaching intensive. I've seen that combines a holistic approach to sales training. Meaning We work on rewriting subconscious belief systems. We align your energy with your goals. And we teach advanced sales strategies you probably haven't seen before. I put all the details in a Google Doc. If you'd like to take a look, just drop the blueprint below or send me a DM, and I'll send it over. P.s. I have payment plans for all levels, as I don't believe that your current cash flow should be a reason why you can't get that little boost you need right now.

🪦 The manager is dead, long live the coach 🏆 Sales is a full-contact sport where the playbook is never finished. And if you’re still managing your team with the same tactics from 10 years ago, you’re losing out on more closed deals, higher ticket sizes, and extra money in your pocket. ❌ OUT: Reactive Management Gone are the days of racing from fire to fire, chasing results, and hoping your team figures it out on their own. ✅ IN: Proactive Coaching New tech for the trades has made scaling coaching to every rep, every time a reality. Now coaches are directly in the driver’s seat. But, this new power requires a mindset change. Have no fear. We’re bringing Joe Crisara, America’s service sales coach and founder of Service MVP, to the first ever Rilla Masters conference for a no holds barred session showing you the playbook for proactive coaching in 2025. You’ll learn: - How top sales managers structure their schedules - Running 1:1s that resonate with reps - The most impactful activities top sales managers do to keep their team at the top of their game It all goes down February 24th-26th in Las Vegas. 500+ of the top contractors in the country have secured their tickets. Will you join your fellow champions at the Super Bowl of sales coaching? Tickets at the link in the comments.

I hear salespeople constantly telling their prospects what they (salespeople) like about the product they’re selling, such as: "I like the wood grain in this car." "I really like the aperture features in this camera." "I love the fact that this tablet comes with facial-recognition security." Guess what. What YOU like is not important to them! Your prospects could care less! Saying what “you” like, is taking valuable time away and making you, your company, and your product/solution irrelevant to the prospect. Take "I like..." out of your sales vocabulary. And I definitely hope no one says, “I don’t like...” which is paycheck suicide. It's your job, as a professional sales consultant, to discover what the prospect’s needs/wants/likes are by building rapport and asking relevant questions, to LEAD them to the product/solution that would meet their needs/wants/likes. Your prospects are HUNGRY for an INTELLIGENT conversation with you. They already know all of the Glengarry Glen Ross closing lines so please STOP the old-school selling that simply raises the sales barrier. ProStar Business Development trains on breaking down the sales barrier, and professionally building rapport, followed up by POWER QUESTIONS to lead your prospects to the sale. You don’t need $10,000 coaching Here’s what you need The average sales closing and conversion rate in the coaching industry is 20-30% That’s understandable because most coaches haven’t come from a sales background And that’s okay! The other side of this is, Most sales gurus on LI will teach you how to generate leads, but almost no one will teach you how to: • Do discovery - the right way • Pitch • Convert • Close and objection handle • Other soft sales skills And the very few who do, ask for big $$ That’s also understandable, it’s business. It doesn’t have to be this way 😁 What if I tell you, you don’t need all that to start developing and improving your sales (closing) skills and easily double your close rate? ✘ It doesn’t need to be $10K ✘ Not even $5K ✘ Heck, not $2K ➨ Here’s how you can start today, Find a sales buddy who knows their sh!t and who has proven results Meet up weekly 1-2 times, for an hour And practice Yup that’s all But wait … 🤚 Make sure your buddy knows the stuff - otherwise, it will be the blind leading the blind. If you don’t have that buddy - I get you there too. I am taking max 8 people to join the Role-Playing community And yes, that will be with me personally - not with other coaches and obviously not alone 😂 You will get immediate feedback from someone (me) who took more sales calls than 10 sales coaches (combined) And have collected multiple 7-fig is sales revenue. So, ✔If you want to come and practice ✔get better and improve ✔close more deals ✔make more money Comment (RP) 👇 and I will fire the details over. #coaches #sales #selling #closer #discovery
