♻️ Over 70 eco-certified hotels! As a business, we must focus and act on sustainability now more than ever. Over the last year, our hotels have been working to reduce their carbon emissions, water consumption, and food waste. But bringing together all our actions and more is eco-certification. We’re incredibly proud that we’re ending the year with over 70 Ennismore hotels being eco-certified. This external and independent stamp of approval is a recognition that our hotels are moving in the right direction, that we’re working to reduce our impact, that we’re supporting local communities, and that we’re raising awareness amongst our team. There are too many hotels to mention, but shout out to the following hotels gaining their certification this year: Gleneagles; The Hoxton Southwark, Rome, Lloyd Amsterdam; 25hours Hotels Frankfurt, Florence, Dubai; 21c Museum Hotels Louisville; Hyde Hotels Dubai; MAMA SHELTER Rennes, Dijon; Mondrian Hotels Cannes, Doha, Seoul; Rixos Hotels The Palm Dubai Abu Dhabi, Sharm El Sheikh; and SO Paris, Uptown Dubai and Vienna. 🌍 Dubai: The Ultimate Global Destination for Tourism and Hospitality in 2024 Dubai continues to shine as a global leader in travel and tourism! 🌟 Between January and August 2024, the emirate welcomed 11.93 million international visitors, reflecting an impressive 7.4% growth compared to last year. This surge is a testament to Dubai’s robust hospitality market and its reputation as a premier destination for business, leisure, and talent. Here’s what’s driving Dubai’s success: ✅ Diverse Source Markets: Western Europe, South Asia, and GCC countries contributed over half of Dubai’s international arrivals. ✅ Strong Market Growth: Year-on-year increases in ADR (+2.5%) and RevPAR (+2.7%) from January to September underline Dubai’s exceptional performance. ✅ Expanding Hotel Portfolio: Nearly 155,400 rooms are available, with 4,800 more set to launch by year-end, focusing on luxury four- and five-star properties. High-profile developments, including Marsa Al-Arab, The Island by Wasl, and Dubai Islands, are set to redefine beachfront luxury, while Dubai International Airport achieved a milestone of 44.9 million passengers in H1 2024, reinforcing Dubai’s pivotal role as a world-class aviation hub. However, the landscape is evolving: 📈 Growing Price Sensitivity: Luxury travelers are more cautious, prompting operators to lower ADRs to sustain occupancy. 💼 Enhanced Guest Experiences: Hotels are investing in upgraded services, F&B offerings, and unmatched experiences to retain guests in a competitive market. With these dynamic shifts and continued innovation, Dubai is set to solidify its position as one of the world’s leading travel and tourism hubs. 🏙️ #DubaiTourism #HospitalityLeadership #TravelIndustry #GlobalDestinations #LuxuryHotels #VisitorExperience

As we welcome 2025, I'd like to share three commitments for the coming year: growth, innovation, and impact. First, growth: We have begun our journey to become Dubai's top five-star hotel developer with 5,000 new luxury rooms at The Heart of Europe. Secondly, innovation: In 2025, The Heart of Europe will launch three unique hotels focused on sustainable luxury and wellness, setting new regional hospitality standards. We're committed to pushing boundaries in all projects, exemplified by our climate-controlled environments and underwater living. Lastly, Impact: Our growth is tied to sustainable practices and community well-being. The Heart of Europe showcases our eco-friendly approach, including coral regeneration and zero-discharge policies. Every project aims to benefit both people and the planet. None of this would be possible without our dedicated team and partners. Thank you for being part of this journey, and happy new year!

I wrote this article on Sustainability as a Core Value in the Hotel Space. Sometimes luxury and "excess" seems counter to the Sustainability Values, but I felt that not only can the two exist together, but actually can be practiced and marketed effectively to the Eco-Conscious traveller. We have used that extensively in "Seclude" where we restore Heritage properties and repurpose old used things imaginatively. Encouraging values like Saving Water in the mountains, avoiding single use plastic, Energy efficiency using natural light, local produce /kitchen garden and cuisine, is in our long list of things we do to improve sustainable tourism. Eco-luxury is a rising trend that combines high-end comfort with responsible practices and we believe that it strikes a chord with the modern traveller as well! #seclude #sustainability
🌿 Sustainable Luxury: The Future of Travel 🌿 In the latest article for The Economic Times, Ramit Sethi, Founder of Seclude, explores how boutique properties are redefining luxury travel by blending comfort with sustainability. At Seclude, we embrace eco-friendly practices—revitalizing heritage spaces, adopting responsible initiatives, and supporting local communities—ensuring every stay is indulgent yet conscious. Sustainable luxury isn’t just a trend; it’s the future, and we’re proud to lead the way. #SustainableTravel #EcoLuxury #SecludeExperiences #ResponsibleTourism
