We'll discuss how LLMs can act as science communicators, specifically in the context of the complex Helmand River conflict. Join us as we explore the potential of AI to bridge communication gaps and facilitate more informed decision-making in water management. #Hydropolitics #water_conflict #AI #science_communication #Helmand_River #LLM

Full Room as Expected After weeks of preparation and anticipation, my Toastmasters’ Club’s Open Night was a massive success. The hard work has paid off. No pain, no gain. Handing out flyers, by talking to strangers, proved to work. We got THREE guests, from the flyers I handed out. 128 flyers in total. If you think handing out flyers doesn’t work, you’re right. Why? Whatever you think, the Law of Attraction will tell you it’s true. I told myself, every time I went out to hand out our flyers, “This is going to work. Keep talking to strangers, with a smile on your face and emit positive energy!” We had EIGHT guests attend in total. This is the most guests, we have had attend in one meeting. I invited a few members, from other clubs, to help out with taking on a role. Their presence and help was most appreciated. Our committed members did their best, to make each of our guests feel welcomed and created a safe environment, for them to speak. The full room’s energy could power the biggest plane ✈️, in the world. 🌍 My HSP’s ears didn’t bleed, because she was absolutely buzzing, from the positive energy. Woo hoo! 👏 🥳💯🎉🥇👏🎈🏆 I was absolutely buzzing last night, when I got home. There was a tremendous sense of satisfaction, flowing from within. It took longer, to settle down to sleep. Not a bad dilemma to be dealing with. The joys of being a Highly Sensitive Person. 😬 I was overwhelmed and overstimulated. Haha 🤣 The last time I handed out flyers was over a decade ago. Thanks to my continuous self development, my skills are still there. Also, thanks to my Toastmasters journey. I couldn’t have done it, without the continued participation with our impromptu speaking sessions, at regular meetings. I am feeling exceptionally rich, from this full room Open Night. The success was a combined team effort. We couldn’t have done it, without each other’s help, support and encouragement. There was a strong sense of community spirit. This Open Night Event, could be a fantastic idea, for a future speech, on many topics. Ahhhhhhhh I am mega rich! 🤑 What activities makes you feel rich? #toastmasters #publicspeaking #selfdevelopment

I am looking forward to these sessions! The first session because of new features that explore communication profiles. The second session because development is so important but so few tools measure and develop these skills. Hope to see you there!

Need Help Getting Approval To Attend? We’ve Got You Covered! 🤝🤝🤝 We know that getting approval to attend professional development events can be tricky. To build a strong enough case to get the tick of approval you need to ensure the event aligns with your school’s priorities, clearly links to your role, and delivers enough value to justify the expense. Whilst doing all of this can take hours when applying to attend other events, at EduFest WA we’ve got you covered. A great way to strengthen your case is to highlight how the event aligns with key AITSL standards. Luckily we’ve done the alignment for you!
