Few years back, I've had a discussion with a department head. He wants us, the L&D to assist them in conducting an awareness program on Product Knowledge. The previous year, they had already conducted the first round. The participation rate were at around 35%. They seek L&D's help on 2 things: 1) to increase the participation rate. 2) to make it more fun. Here's what L&D did. We had serial quizzes tourney. We did a doodle contest. Materials for both activities came from the original material by the Product department. There's prizes for both. We framed the winning doodles along corridors. So many employees participated. The rate was close to 90%. Sure. The easier things is to conduct compulsory assessment. To make it more efficient, do a compulsory pass. But employees will always find ways to get around such rules. Instead, my team opted for creating a learning culture. People actually went through the materials several times, just to look for inspiration when they did the doodle. Learning happens when you wish to know about, when you're looking for something. Seek to build the learning culture. Don't simply chase for obedience. Don't simply do something just for the sake of resolving your own KPI. Stick around. I'll share more tips on how to build a learning culture for your own company.

My ALX VA Course Journey It’s been about 3 weeks of learning, and from the lessons so far, I’ve realized that this course is not just about being an administrative assistant but also covers the basics of working remotely. It teaches how to navigate teams, lead, meet expectations, and so much more. As a product manager with a background in administrative assistance, it’s a win-win for me. I’ll be sharing my learns as time goes on. But today, I want to talk about how this course isn’t just loaded but well-structured and gives you a sense of achievement. So, I was feeling overwhelmed but then this win video came in, encouraging that if I’ve gone this far, I can get through anything. This video was a reminder that progress, no matter how small, is still progress. It's a testament to the power of perseverance and the well-thought-out design of the course that keeps pushing you forward, making each milestone feel significant and motivating. I laughed, danced to the song, and suddenly I got this energy to complete that module. This taught me that celebrating wins, no matter how little, helps you see where you’re coming from and gives you that sense of responsibility to push further. These small celebrations are crucial; they remind us of our progress and reignite our motivation to keep going. As I continue this journey, I’m looking forward to more moments like these that remind me of the importance of perseverance, structure, and celebration in achieving my goals. #VirtualAssistant #RemoteWork #ProductManagement #LearningJourney #Perseverance #CelebratingWins #ProfessionalGrowth

“We believe in practical learning in our cohorts”. We say this lot at Crework. Even you might have seen this in my posts again and again. A lot of you might also have a question that how do we do that? I will tell you how. 1. Graduation Project In our PM cohort, 3 weeks are dedicated completely to a graduation project where you will be given a problem statement from an existing product, most probably a startup that we partner with. In these 3 weeks, you will act like a PM and solve that problem statement for that product. Not only that, you will build a case study and present your solution to the mentors and to the team of that product. This will act like a proof of work for you and will let you implement whatever you learn in the cohort. 2. Builders Cohort Every participant of the PM cohort will get free access to Builders Cohort just after the PM cohort. In the Builders Cohort, you become part of a team with developers and designers, build a product from scratch in 6 weeks and launch it. Building a product from scratch and launching it to real user is a much better proof of work as a PM than any product teardown you will do. This would give you real practical learnings from real users. This is the biggest part of our practical learning approach. If you are an aspiring Product Manager who is looking for a more practical learning experience and wants to switch to a product role, you should check out Crework's website. The link is in the comments. Do reach out to me if you have any questions. Would be more than happy to answer them.

At developrec, we make Wednesdays count with our 'develop Yourself' sessions. Our Consultants invest dedicated time to brush up on coding skills specific to the areas they recruit in, not just for themselves but to bring added value to our customer and candidate communities. We do this in partnership with Udemy and everyone at the company has access to thousands of courses to further their knowledge. Over the past few years, we've seen rapid growth in our Product and Design brand. In line with that, I’m currently shoulder-deep in a Product Management course led by Todd Birzer. This week I’ve focused on competitor analysis specifically around product strategy, product development, competitive pricing, and choice of growth opportunities. These sessions are massively beneficial not only for engagement within our team but to push our own products/offering forward. I’d love to know, what are our competitors doing in the recruitment space that sticks out as a real value add to you as a client/ customer? #developYourself #EngineeringYourGrowth

Hi Everyone, Here is learning from 6th week of fellowship product management program by Growjunction Topic: Technology 101 for pm part 1 My learning 1) Server: It's like central hub that stores and process data, serving it to clients upon request. 2) Client: This is user facing side of the software. where user interact with the product. 3) Plug in: this is an additional tool or features that can be integrated into main product to extend its functionality. 4) Error code: When something goes wrong in a software program, error code provide valuable clues about the nature of the issue. Thank you Swapnil Gudmalwar for giving valuable insights #growjunction #productmanagement

At CrateBind, we're Always Learning! You'll see this play out in two major ways: 1. Our culture - We've got dedicated resources to professional development used for courses, conferences and the like. Our different teams also have a weekly Community of Practice, where they are sharing knowledge and growing in their respective disciplines. 2. Our partners - With every partnership, we want to be the first to raise a hand, admit that we don't know something and create to plan to go figure it out. Every project is an opportunity for us to learn from our clients, growing our knowledge of their business and industry. Put simply, Always Learning is about having humility, acknowledging that we don't know everything and striving to listen, learn and grow together. #productstrategy #productdesign #productengineering #softwaredevelopment #productdevelopment #agile #culture

It all started with a simple LinkedIn DM from an early member of the Trainn team. Little did I know that this message would introduce me to a product that would captivate me and transform the way I approach customer training. From the moment I first experienced Trainn, I was hooked. The AI-powered, no-code customer training platform empowered me to create engaging product videos, interactive guides, and a comprehensive knowledge base without relying on design or development resources. It was a game-changer! Over the years, I have had the privilege of implementing Trainn at three different organizations. Throughout this journey, the founders, Vivekanandhan Natarajan and Sumana Ammaiyappan, have been incredibly supportive and cooperative. Their willingness to listen to feedback and their grounded approach has made the implementation process seamless and enjoyable. What sets #Trainn apart is its ability to create an Academy with quizzes and certifications, providing a holistic learning experience for customers. The platform's intuitive interface and powerful features have allowed me to deliver exceptional customer training effortlessly. I cannot recommend Trainn enough to anyone looking to revolutionize their customer training approach. The founders' dedication, the product's capabilities, and the exceptional customer experience have made me a lifelong advocate for Trainn. Indeed, it is the customer experience that truly gets you hooked on a brand, and Trainn has mastered that art. If you're ready to take your customer training to new heights, I highly encourage you to explore Trainn. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! #CustomerTraining #AIpowered #NoCode #ProductVideos #InteractiveGuides #KnowledgeBase #CustomerExperience #Trainn
