First, industrial and commercial energy storage is a key link in constructing regional smart microgrids/virtual power plants and integrating regional power sources, grids, loads, and storage. It will play an increasingly important role in the construction of new power systems. The actions to improve the friendly performance of new energy systems, optimize the regulation capacity of power systems, and improve the coordination capacity of demand sides all focus on the construction of distributed energy and demand-side flexibility. In the next stage of my country's new power system construction, strengthening the regulation of the load side and the dispatch of flexible resources will be placed in a very important position. Second, industrial and commercial energy storage is an indispensable technical means for industrial and commercial users and their energy supply service providers to reduce costs and increase efficiency in the face of the power market. As the pace of electricity marketization accelerates, electricity price signals are becoming stronger. For industrial and commercial electricity users and related service providers that provide such units with electricity sales services and integrated energy services, how to control the sharp fluctuations in electricity use costs in the ever-changing electricity market, and even use electricity market transactions to obtain additional profits, is a problem that must be considered. The peak shifting and valley filling and flexible scheduling characteristics of energy storage are the key to solving the above problems. It can be expected that the demand potential of the user-end market for industrial and commercial energy storage will continue to be further released in the future, which will also be conducive to the development of industrial and commercial energy storage formats.
