Ever wondered why the Brooklyn Bridge has those giant stone towers? They're not just for show! The weight of all that limestone actually plays a crucial role in the bridge's stability. These towers act as anchor points, helping to balance the weight of the steel suspension cables that hold the entire bridge deck. It's a brilliant example of how form and function can work together! Pretty cool engineering, right? Follow for more such information. #StructuralEngineering #EngineeringFunFact

Here's a snapshot from a recent project we successfully completed for one of Boston's most well-respected property management firms, Thayer & Associates. This project had it all. Many different system components, transitions, waterproofing challenges, and safety & logistics coordination as to not disrupt residents during the project. Phase 1 - Caulking and coating of all exposed CMU exterior walls in the building. - Replacement of the asphalt shingle roof systems at the mansard roofs. - Demolition and disposal of the existing wood decks and fences on both sides of the Third Floor Roof. Phase 2 Replacement of low slope roofs with new Sarnafil PVC roof. - Installation of new Tile Tech Pavers paver systems and Trex Company composite decking. - Replacement of skylights & hatches. - Replacement of metal railings. - Construction of wooden IPE fences and barriers. #reputationmatters #experiencematters #capitalprojects #skylights #roofhatch #ipe #trex #pvcmembrane #flashings #metalwork #safteyfirst #commercialrealestate #commercialroofing #buildingenvelope #trustedpartners
