𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗚𝗬 𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗥𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗧 𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗔𝗡 𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗚𝗬 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗚𝗬. Thrilled to share that Legend partnered with a mining customer on the development of multiple new mines in the southwest United States. Initially, the customer had already engaged with various utilities for power and gas service connections. However, upon our involvement, we identified potential pitfalls related to construction costs and in-service timelines. BTW, these situations happen more often than you would think. We're proud to say that our team devised a completely new strategy, bringing power and gas utilities to each mine, which significantly slashed construction costs and timelines. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗱: - Construction of a 138kV transmission interconnection - 14 miles of private 138kV transmission lines - Two substations - Two interstate pipeline interconnections - 16 miles of pipeline construction Not only did we bring all projects in ahead of schedule and under budget, but we also saved the customer over $1M in infrastructure costs and three months in operational in-service time, along with $850k annually in delivery charges for power and gas. Upon completing the infrastructure projects, our Markets and Analytics teams sprang into action. We installed the Legend Analytics system at the mines, providing real-time visibility into all aspects of the operation, from energy consumption to environmental impacts and material sales, all in one platform. Simultaneously, our Markets team crafted a custom wholesale power product, enabling the customer to fully leverage the infrastructure design and access transmission-level power. This resulted in a staggering $75k profit in a single afternoon by actively selling back power in real-time markets, a testament to our actively managed strategy. Furthermore, our Markets service facilitated daily natural gas nominations and balancing service on interstate pipelines, further optimizing the infrastructure we helped implement. Through proactive management, we saved the customer over $400k in a single month. From October 2023 to October 2024, ∼513 wells changed their activity status ❲i.e. From Producing to Shut In❳, the chart below shows where these changes occurred. 𝟭𝟰% 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 ❲𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗱❳, 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗱. The largest single change was from producing wells to being shut In, but over 𝟰𝟰% 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗱 ❲zonal isolation or completed P&A❳. Thoughts: Why is it so hard these days to land a good position with an excellent team in the oil and gas industry? This is for all personnel with experience. It should be easy, but it's not. They overlook you're experience and go with personnel who have never been in the industry. But if I look at a different industry to go into, they tell me that I have never worked in this field before, so here comes the rejection for the position! So please explain. What can a person do differently to land a good position?

Energy Transfer has finalized its $3.25 billion acquisition of WTG Midstream, enhancing its operations in the Permian Basin. The transaction involved $2.27 billion in cash and 50.8 million common units. WTG's assets include a 9,656 km pipeline network, eight gas processing plants with a capacity of 1.3 billion cubic feet per day, and a 20% interest in the BANGL Pipeline.
