Today, we celebrate Ghana's 67th Independence Day anniversary! On this day in 1957, #Ghana made history by becoming the first sub-Saharan African country to gain independence from Colonial rule. Let's take a moment to reflect on Ghana's real #economic #independence, continued growth, and sustainable development. As we celebrate this historic day, let's also recognize the #opportunities that lie ahead. One such opportunity is the #Dawa Industrial Zone, which is fast becoming a world-class special economic zone for #manufacturing and #trade. This zone is set to position Ghana as a hub for manufacturing in #Africa and beyond, providing a platform for #businesses to thrive and create #jobs. With the African Continental Free Trade Area (#AfCFTA) now in effect, Africa’s commercial capital is well-positioned to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the world's largest free trade area. Ghana, as a member of the AfCFTA, can take full advantage of the new market opportunities and increase its trade with other African countries. Once again, Happy Independence Day, Ghana! #IndependenceDay #HistoryMade #DawaIndustrialZone #AfCFTA #Trade

The brave people of Uganda, from the Kingdoms of Buganda, Bunyoro, Toro, and Ankole, to the diverse communities across the country, fought for the right to self-governance and freedom. On this day in 1962, Uganda emerged as a sovereign nation, with a vision for unity and prosperity, standing proudly as the “Pearl of Africa.” Uganda maintained its Commonwealth membership. A second round of elections in April 1962 elected members to a new National Assembly. Milton Obote, leader of the majority coalition in the National Assembly, became prime minister and led Uganda to formal independence on October 9, 1962. As we celebrate Zambia’s 60th Independence Anniversary, it’s time to break free from the limitations that have held us back for too long. God has endowed us with gifts, talents, and treasures—valuable resources that empower us to take responsibility for the change we wish to see. While the government plays a key role in our nation’s progress, the real onus is on us as citizens. We must seek out opportunities where we can make a difference and embrace the challenge of transforming Zambia into the nation we envision. It is not enough to wait for solutions from others; as Zambians, we must step forward and lead in creating the future we want. Pointing fingers and assigning blame will not move us forward. In whatever spheres we operate, we must roll up our sleeves, unite, and actively contribute to building a better Zambia. We need to look beyond merely paying our bills and surviving. Now is the time to be bold and patriotic, to step up and offer solutions to the many challenges we face. Let’s challenge ourselves to build legacies that will stand the test of time for future generations. Regardless of the hurdles—whether it be climate change, drought, or other obstacles—we must rise and make a difference. #HappyIndependence #Zambia

Today, we celebrate the 115th birthday of Ghana's first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, a true visionary and champion of Pan-Africanism. His legacy continues to inspire generations, emphasizing unity, progress, and collective action in the face of global challenges. As we honor his memory, we're reminded of the significance of Agenda 2063, Africa's development blueprint for inclusive and sustainable socio-economic growth. Dr. Nkrumah's Pan-African dream aligns perfectly with Agenda 2063's goals, which include: • Economic Transformation: industrial advancement, agricultural revolution, and comprehensive social protection • Connectivity and Integration: sustainable infrastructure, trade facilitation, and enhanced connectivity • Peace and Security: early warning systems, mediation, and dialogue • Cultural Identity: integrating African values into education, supporting cultural industries, and fostering pan-African identity As we strive for "The Africa We Want," we must recognize the progress made and challenges ahead. With continued collaboration, innovation, and a relentless pursuit of our collective goals, we'll achieve the aspirations of Agenda 2063. Dr. Nkrumah's words, "We face neither East nor West: we face forward," remain a powerful call to action, urging us to work together towards a prosperous, peaceful, and united Africa by the African Union. #KwameNkrumahLegacy #GhanaAt65 #AfricanUnity #AfricanDevelopment #AfricaRising

Independence, to me, is the freedom to fully express one’s authentic self without being constrained by external forces—be it people, circumstances, or societal expectations. It makes me reflect: Am I truly independent? Do we all share the same understanding of independence? Would the sense of independence 62 years ago be the same as what we experience today? And what will it mean 50 years from now? Is independence one of the most significant goals we should pursue? What happens if we fall short of society’s ideal version of independence? Is Uganda truly independent, or is the concept more complex than we acknowledge? Is independence a fate we are destined for, or something we must relentlessly strive to achieve? Wishing Uganda a joyful day of reflection and pride from Adroit Solutions Limited (Uganda) 🇺🇬 #uganda@62 #independence #independencedayuganda #ugandaindependence
