As I have mentioned, November has been a whirlwind, and last week, I had the privilege of running a problem solvers workshop at the It Takes a Spark STEM Conference at Launceston Church Grammar School. It was an incredible opportunity to teach students some of the content from our Enterprize Spark program, which is all about inspiring the next generation to think differently and creatively. We go beyond traditional business ideas, focusing on the power of creative problem solving, innovation, and resilience. But it’s not just about theory, we show students how to embrace failure as a stepping stone to success. It’s in those moments of setback that they develop critical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills that will stay with them for years to come. And while we work hard to prepare them for the future, we also make sure they’re having fun along the way. After all, learning should be an exciting journey! At the expo, I was able to see how the wider STEAM community is contributing to this process, with amazing organisations like GreenSTEM Education, Questacon - The National Science and Technology Centre, University of Tasmania, St Mary's College, Australian Maritime College, the ARC Centre of Excellence in Plants for Space, and CSIRO all playing a part in shaping the future of our students. I would also like to give a huge thank you to Dr Adrian Bertolini and Michelle Bradley for organising such an amazing event, and to Launceston Church Grammar and Dale Bennett for hosting and being at the forefront of STEAM education. It’s events like these that empower our students to think big, dream bold, and create change. Check out Spark for yourself, or message me for more information on how you can implement this free program into your school. Let's inspire the next generation of creators, thinkers, and leaders! https://lnkd.in/gDgTHubZ Enterprize Tasmania
