Uganda is blessed with a young , vibrant populace eager to excel with an impressive entrepreneurial spirit and make an impact in their different industries and sectors , and all these people can't afford offices or the available shared working stations. This definitely poses an opportunity for the hospitality industry players to tap into this market with affordable, customized work spaces with flexible layouts or lounges to hold meetings and work during the day . all they need is comfortable furniture, support through printing scanning, Photocopy options , dedicated WiFi, power sockets for charging or USB ports and definitely quiet zones. Develop smart meeting zones with projectors , whiteboards but for a small group of maybe 10 people. Then create specialized menus for these groups from coffee, tea , lunch at affordable rates to entice them to subscribe to daily , weekly or monthly passes or packages with room access, meals and meeting facilities. Hospitality facilities can collaborate with companies, startups and offer them different rates and options. By adapting these strategies, hospitality facilities in Uganda can tap into the growing demand for work-friendly environments, diversifying revenue streams and enhancing customer experiences with unique different options to meet their needs.

In a world increasingly driven by technology, decentralizing infrastructure to underserved regions is more important than ever. At Impact360, we are committed to breaking barriers and decentralizing events to make them more accessible and relevant to communities across the country. For example, why should all agricultural events take place in Nairobi when the majority of farmers are in Nyandarua? Our mission is to bridge this gap and bring impactful events closer to the people they serve. With this vision in mind, we are thrilled to announce our first decentralized event in Kabarak on February 1st, 2025. This marks the beginning of a movement to ensure events are aligned with the geographical realities and needs of different communities. We believe collaboration and support will be key to making this initiative a success. Join us in reshaping how events are planned and delivered. Let’s make an Impact360 together! The new metro in Abuja is offering free rides for the first six months to ease commutes, reduce traffic, and encourage adoption. This tactic offers several key lessons for brands: 1. Build Awareness and Interest: - Low-Risk Entry: Removing the financial barrier encourages potential users to try the service. - Organic Promotion: Positive experiences shared by users can significantly boost awareness. 2. Encourage Habit Formation: - User Habituation: Consistent use over the free period can integrate the service into daily routines. - Increased Switching Costs: Familiarity with the service makes switching back to alternatives less appealing. 3. Capture Market Share: - Rapid Market Penetration: Free trials can quickly capture a large user base. - First-Mover Advantage: Establishing a user base early makes it harder for competitors to attract the same users. 4. Gather Data and Feedback: - User Insights: Collect valuable data on user behavior and preferences. - Service Improvement: Use feedback to refine the service for better alignment with user needs. 5. Build Trust and Loyalty: - Trust Building: Providing value upfront without cost helps build credibility. - Loyalty Programs: Offer rewards or discounts to early adopters to ease the transition to a paid model. 6. Scale Gradually: - Operational Testing: Test and refine operational aspects under real-world conditions. - Confident Scaling: Scale operations based on real demand and usage patterns. 7. Enhance Public Image: - Corporate Social Responsibility: Offering free services enhances the brand’s image as socially responsible. - Community Engagement: Foster goodwill and long-term positive relationships through community-oriented initiatives. Brands can adapt this strategy across various industries to attract and retain users, build trust, and secure a strong market position.

#WASH #SDG6 Today, I received a representative of #ImilikeEnu and also a contingent from #UkwuotoEdenu led by the Igwe. I have also received the PG of #AgbuduUdi. I have received the #Agbogazi and #NekeUno group. They are all asking for potable water. Some ask for new water schemes, some ask for the revamping of old schemes. Some ask for both. I am glad that they all accept the new path we're taking: Community ownership and management, while deepening conversation around ending open defaecation. We are at different stages of the conversation with the various communities. Each agrees that it is necessary that communities own and manage their water in a sort of community cooperative structure. It is a sure #sustainability model. Because #Communities differ, the nuances of the model will differ. While we're at it, they each agree that we need as a matter of urgency, to institutionalise #mobileToilets during social functions in our communities. This opens another #Entrepreneurship in our #Rural communities. It's a long walk. But this is happening because the great men and women of the various #WASH Units at LG level are engaging community by community. So, it is a walk worth while. #HealthIsWealth #SanitationIsHealth
