🏗️ Meet the Unsung Heroes of EMI’s Construction Department 🏗️ This week, we’re celebrating National Construction Appreciation Week and shining a spotlight on the incredible Pre-Construction Team that works tirelessly behind the scenes to set our Project Managers, Superintendents, and crews up for success. These experts take the handoff from sales and collaborate with general contractors to ensure that everything is ready to go before our teams hit the ground. 🌟RJ & James – Pre-Construction Specialists RJ and James are essential to this process. They work closely with general contractors to order big materials and finalize plans. Their attention to detail and dedication ensures that by the time the project reaches our Project Managers, everything is ready to roll, helping projects stay on time and on budget. 📈Anders – Process & Efficiency Manager Anders plays a key role in optimizing processes and improving efficiency. His job is all about making sure that our teams have everything they need to hit the ground running and to keep things moving smoothly throughout the project. His work helps eliminate delays and keeps everything running like clockwork. Without these guys, none of our construction projects would be as seamless or efficient. They’re the unsung heroes, making sure everything is set up perfectly before the real action begins! Thank you, RJ, James, and Anders, for everything you do to make our projects a success! 💪 #NationalConstructionAppreciationWeek #TeamSpotlight #ConstructionHeroes #BehindTheScenes #EfficiencyMatters #EMIConstruction

🚧 Trust: The Foundation of Every Successful Construction Project 🚧 At Tri-Bay Construction, we understand that construction isn't just about bricks and beams—it's about relationships. In our latest blog post, The Importance of Trust, we explore how fostering trust among clients, general contractors, and subcontractors leads to more than just successful projects; it creates lasting partnerships. Why is trust so essential in construction? Because it drives collaboration, reduces miscommunication, and ensures everyone is working toward the same goal. Whether meeting tight deadlines, navigating unexpected challenges, or staying within budget, trust ensures the entire team is aligned, proactive, and committed. We also highlight why working with a contractor who has built strong, reliable partnerships with their subcontractors can make all the difference. These relationships translate into smoother workflows, better quality control, and a seamless client experience. When trust is at the core, construction projects are completed more efficiently, on time, and with results everyone can be proud of. 👉 Read the full article here to learn more: https://lnkd.in/eA-V3xyb If you're planning a project and want a team you can count on, reach out to us. When choosing the right contractor and construction team for your commercial project, it’s important to assess the range of services offered from early design phases to post-construction. Often, it’s easy to become caught up on the specifics of the project - selecting a site, ordering materials, creating a timeline of completion, etc. - without thinking ahead to the building’s needs after construction. In reality, partnering with a commercial construction company that offers comprehensive services throughout your building’s life is the surest way to ensure your project’s long-term success. From, “They will win EVERY new job” To, “We will NEVER work with them EVER again” All on the same project. During a site walk on a job we had recently been awarded, I asked the owner about their previous projects. In the conversation, we spoke about subcontractors they worked with previously. A competitor was on their last project. And their work on it was spectacular. The owner’s exact words were the competitor was, “going to win every single future project they would build.” (Including the job we were currently walking) But before this, something happened: - That job’s turnover from construction to maintenance was a mess - After that, the property maintenance was a complete disaster - So much so, the owner took away their maintenance contract The process was so painful, that before our job was even in design, the owner stated, “We will never have them on another one of our projects. Ever.” Start strong. Build strong. Finish strong. P.S. We’re speaking about the maintenance contract on that previous property soon. P.S.S. Have you seen this to be true in your life?

#repost - Hosea's Heart It was truly a blessing to connect with Director Mary-Kate Martin and provide the support needed to overcome construction challenges. We are honored to partner with such a dedicated and passionate team, helping them focus on their callings while we manage the construction details. - - - - - - - - - - We are overjoyed to share some major updates to our New Growth Expansion this week! There are 3 big things we want to highlight, so here is #1 🤩 As we were running into issues and set-backs with our construction plans, Director Mary-Kate Martin had a “chance” encounter with a Third Lens representative; she asked him for advice, which opened up doors for a LOT of help. Through this, Mary-Kate reflects, “we realized that we needed more than just advice... we needed a partnership.” We are thanking God for His provision! 🥳 As you can see on the graphic, Third Lens offers expertise in a number of areas that we are not experts. Our team has been working SO HARD (& doing an incredible job) to make this dream a reality on the ground, but managing a major construction project drains a lot of our Lead Team’s time and energy, leaving less for the callings that they are gifted in & feel passionate about. Partnering with professional, reputable architects, contractors, engineers, and project managers is a GAME CHANGER for our team 😍 Mary-Kate shares, “The Third Lens partnership enables us as staff to continue to do what WE are called to do and not have to take on the whole management of construction ourselves.” They are experiencing huge burdens lifted and seeing exciting forward movement! (Stay tuned for exciting progress updates)

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱? This week on The Construction MF’ers, I sat down with Scott Arias, CEO of ACE Consulting Company, Inc.. Scott specializes in the federal contracting space, has been in the construction industry for 27 years, and if you’ve spent decades in construction like he has, you know it takes resilience, patience, and a deep understanding of the work to stick with it. He grew up in a small desert town outside Albuquerque, joined the Navy, and eventually built ACE Consulting into a $25M business. Along the way, he’s worked on everything from embassy projects overseas to training the next generation of construction professionals. We talked about some of the biggest challenges in construction—how managing submittals the right way prevents headaches, why schedules are about aligning costs and execution (and are more than just timelines), and what it takes to attract and retain the next generation of skilled workers. He touched on what’s worked for him, what hasn’t, and why doing the right thing in business always pays off in the long run. Full episode in the comments. 👇
