Enviva associates from our Amory team were proud to once again sponsor and play in the Annual Amory #RotaryClub golf tournament ⛳ last week at the River Birch Gold Club in Amory, Ms. The tournament is a major fundraiser for the Quality Education Foundation (QEF) and the Amory School District. Since 1997, The QEF has funded approximately $350,000 in grants to benefit the students of Amory. Supporting local schools and students across our footprint will always be important to Enviva and a part of our core values. #EnvivaProud

In 2023-24, grant aid provided directly by colleges and universities was over half (52%) of all grant aid from all sources for undergrads. (See College Board Trends in College Pricing and Student Aid 2024.) This increasing investment in aid is made possible through charitable giving and endowments. Hot Cares NPC, the charitable arm of Hot 102.7 FM, partnered with the University of Pretoria (UP) and SEESA to transform the lives of students facing financial and food insecurity. Together, they cleared over R100,000 in historical debt for four deserving students, enabling them to graduate, and donated essential food items to UP’s Student Nutrition and Progress Programme (SNAPP), which addresses the critical issue of food insecurity on campus.
