Entrepreneurs' Organization Melbourne’s Post

The return of the Global Student Entrepreneur Award (GSEA) to Melbourne after a decade was nothing short of inspiring! On Wednesday, 13th November 2024, the competition showcased the brilliance and resilience of tertiary student entrepreneurs. Hosted by our Strategic Alliance Partner, BlueRock, the evening buzzed with energy, featuring four exceptional young business minds vying for a chance to represent Australia at the APAC finals in Japan. Each presentation reflected the students' drive to create meaningful change through their ventures, making the judges’ task of choosing a winner no easy feat. Congratulations to Kai Seymon, the founder of Kaikofidgets.com, whose journey from crafting fidgets at 11 years old to leading a $2M business stood out as a testament to innovation and purpose. Kai’s work empowers neurodivergent individuals, not just through his products but also through inclusive employment practices. A huge well done to Savannah Fung of Typpio.com for her groundbreaking work in using AI to combat banking fraud. We’re proud of all the participants and grateful to the judges and Blue Rock for making this event unforgettable. Best of luck to Kai in Japan—we’re cheering you on to bring home the victory! 🎉
