I see it all the time in my coaching sessions—creative leaders and professionals with incredible dreams, but they’re stuck. Why? Because they haven’t made the critical leap from dream to goal. Here’s the thing: A dream exists in your mind. You can close your eyes and imagine it vividly—the feeling of being healthier, the excitement of launching a project, the joy of creating something meaningful. But a goal is different. A goal is something measurable. It exists in the world. For example: Dream: I want to be a better leader. Goal: I will schedule biweekly one-on-ones with my team to foster trust and alignment. The magic happens when you move beyond imagination and turn your dream into an actionable, measurable goal. Ask yourself: How will I know when I’ve achieved it? Whether it’s running a 5K, launching a creative project, or redefining your leadership style, clarity is key.
