This week has been an incredible and fulfilling week for me. I was privileged to present a part of my research at the Ist conference on Engineering Porous Materials at Multiple Scales hosted by the University of Bath. I'm never going to get over the wealth of knowledge I gained at this event. For me, talking about the importance of exploring the potentials of microwaves in meeting the United Nations sustainable development goals (7 and 13) was very rewarding and I'm really grateful for the suggestions, contributions and insightful discussions that followed my presentation. It was an honour to connect with Chris Bowen , Andrea Laybourn ,Tim Mays , Hassan Azzan , Rachel Oliver , Ryutaro Sato, Alexander O'Malley, Ali Mohammed Yimer, Sonia Skaczkowska , Ajeet kumar, Lila M. and lots of other incredible experts and researchers. I remain grateful to PETROLEUM TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT FUND and like I always say, "I do not take this privilege for granted". To my Supervisors, Prof Sean Rigby, Prof David Large and Dr Mohamed Adam, thanks for your unwavering support and guidance throughout this journey. I once told someone about how amazing my supervisors have been and the response I got was, "You can't let them down". Their determination to ensure that I succeed in this journey has been my motivation and the thought of not letting them down keeps pushing me further in achieving my goal. Thanks to the organisers of EPoMM (Engineering Porous Materials at Multiple Scales), 2024. I look forward to next year's conference.
