We are really pleased to have entered into this new partnership agreement with Salsnes Filter and especially looking forward to seeing how it will benefit our clients. We’re very familiar with their technology and solutions, traditionally used as an alternative to a primary settlement tank, especially on sites where footprint is at a premium or where budgets do not extend to full tank construction. It is also used for ‘peak lopping’ applications, providing short-term primary treatment capacity under peak flow conditions. More recently, Salsnes Filter products have been successfully used for the treatment of storm overflows, removing solids and organic matter from excess flows arising from network CSOs and treatment plant storm tanks. The technology stands to play a prominent role in the upcoming nationwide programmes of reducing and managing storm discharges. This new partnership agreement will drive greater value in the market, as well as availing of our expertise in delivering integrated and packaged solutions including feed pumping, discharge, sludge handling, washwater provision, access steelwork and electrical/ICA ancillaries. And it’s ultimately our customers who will benefit, according to our General Manager Shaun Stevens. “This direct access arrangement ensures we can deliver Salsnes Filter products more effectively for our customers and provides the integration, commissioning and aftermarket support services that our customers are demanding. These products will play an important role in meeting many of the treatment challenges that the industry faces in the coming years.” #RethinkingWater

Strong product partnerships are the key to successful business so it's wonderful to have renewed our arrangement for the distribution of Salsnes Filter products across the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. Having worked with Salsnes Filter through a third party for several years, this new agreement means we now have direct and exclusive access to their range of belt filter products for the UK and Irish municipal markets. UK General Manager Shaun Stevens believes the company's offering fits perfectly into EPS' product mix. "Alongside our market-leading offering scraper bridges, it gives us a complete solution toolkit for primary and stormwater treatment applications". Managing Director of Salsnes Filter, Johan Sellaeg says, "We are two companies that share a great commitment for water treatment. Our values and the way we work, fit together very well. This new agreement will make it easier for municipal and industrial customers to benefit from efficient solid separation solutions". The deal was cemented at a recent meeting of the two companies at the IFAT worldwide exhibition in Munich. Pictured with Johan B.
