Great event today at ResearchED. It was nice to see a few familiar faces there and to bump into Bernard Noble briefly! It was particularly insightful hearing from Dr Haili Hughes talking about ‘the car crash of teacher retention.’ I agree with her that our children deserve to have teachers that want to be in their job and enjoy what they do. There’s a mountain to climb to get there but it’s important that we make it a priority.
