CDR is like a portfolio for engineers wanting to work in Australia. It’s made up of several important parts that, together, show off your engineering skills and experience. A CDR report is also a comprehensive document required by Engineers Australia to evaluate the qualifications and professional experience of engineers seeking to migrate and work in Australia. The CDR consists of several key components: personal information, including identification and a recent photograph; a detailed CV; and a record of continuing professional development (CPD) activities. The core of the CDR is the three career episodes, which are narrative essays that describe specific engineering projects or tasks, showcasing the applicant’s problem-solving abilities and application of engineering principles. Each career episode is complemented by a summary statement, which maps the content to Engineers Australia’s competency standards, ensuring all necessary skills and knowledge are demonstrated. Together, these components provide a thorough and structured representation of an engineer’s qualifications, making the CDR report an essential tool for professional recognition in Australia. https://lnkd.in/gZs4whw6 𝓒𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 : Misi Chaudhary 𝐂𝐃𝐑 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭. ::: +61480095437 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐢@𝐜𝐝𝐫𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭.𝐜𝐨𝐦

Despite the shortage of engineers, most of the engineering employers and recruiters don't seem to be ready to make the most out of the influx of overseas engineering talent... Good to see Engineers Australia's recent initiatives towards improving this situation 👏 A good read : https://lnkd.in/gHqMuSsm

You no longer need a degree to pursue a career in engineering today. But please don't talk down engineering degrees because they are still very much valid and a relatively reliable qualification and verification that someone can attain higher level of competence in a specific field or specialisation. Good day to the mighty Engineering network!! Lets have an honest discussion here: 😯The demand for engineers is outpacing supply and creating challenges for the manufacturing sector. According to the Association of German Engineers (VDI), Germany faces a considerable shortfall of skilled engineers, with approximately 170,000 open positions. This shortage spans multiple engineering fields, such as mechanical, electrical, and automotive engineering. And here are the numbers!!!!: The economy is expected to grow 0.2% this year, far less than the forecast of 1.3% 2.6 million people aged between 20 and 30 in Germany have no professional qualification and cannot fill these open positions 50% of German companies are struggling to fill vacancies 🐺 If you're aiming to draw in high-quality professionals and fill essential skill gaps, let’s connect for an informal discussion. I'm here to support your organization in staying competitive and to share insights on successful approaches

Handling variances was already challenging in less complex times - today, the number of dependencies, variant drivers and restrictions that need to be taken into account is exploding. The integration of systems engineering and product line engineering promises a remedy through the following: 🛠 Systematic reuse of engineering assets 👬 Transparency of variance and technical dependencies across engineering disciplines 🎮 Control of variant drivers and their influence on complexity Read more about the potential of integrating systems and product line engineering and find out how you can implement this for your company! What is systems engineering? Systems engineering is the process of combining systems according to specified sets of costs and benefits. Just as the world can be viewed through a rose-colored lens, it can likewise be viewed through a systems-colored lens. To be a systems engineer is to embody this viewpoint.
