unsung heros... the vector db is a workhorse these days and many people assume they are all created equal. nope. Vertex Vector Search is the most performant one, especially when compared using the metric [recall @ queries per second]... also it's priced incredibly well given the performance.

Microsoft's AI team needed a high-performance, reliable gateway to serve as the front-end for their various AI-powered experiences. They chose to build this gateway, called CETO, using the YARP reverse proxy project on .NET 8. CETO provides a way to unify business logic and route requests to the appropriate upstream services.
