[Water mills reactivation] Here it is! The inception video of the European Renewat Project is out! Indeed water mills reactivation really fits with the deployment of citizen or renewable energy communities, which is a new legal status in EU. Most of the water mills owners' concern is to find the relevant skills and knowledge, both technical, historic, environmental... as for an hydraulic structure aiming at producing energy. But the main barriers to the massification of these projects today are administrative. Watershed management being principally driven by dogmatic vision of free flowing rivers. So without any dams on it, big or small.
