[#Automotive #HMI case study] Our customer desired to develop a cost-effective, quick start-up HMI solution for their digital instrument clusters for ICE-powered motorcycles.    🌟 Embitel Solution:    We designed and developed the software for a #HumanMachineInterface (HMI) with Thin Film Transistor (TFT) display that was part of the customer’s #DigitalInstrumentCluster product.  Since TFT technology offers exceptional resolution amongst all flat-panel technologies while also being cost-effective, this was most suited for this project.    🌟 Key Features of the Solution:    - Bluetooth connectivity     - Calls and messages display   - Safety alerts and warnings   - TBT navigation   - #Cloud connectivity   - #FOTA update    We also optimised the startup time of the HMI so that tell-tale images are displayed within 2 milliseconds. Radar operating in the 70GHz spectrum is well-known for enabling automotive emergency braking (#AEB) and blind spot detection. For 2G/3G eCall, the MSD is transmitted via a circuit-switched voice channel to the PSAP using an in-band modem. Next Generation eCall uses IMS and 4G/5G technology to transmit the voice and MSD.
