Congratulations to “SWCC Class 129” 🇺🇸⚓️👏🤘🏼🚀💥💣🧨💪🏼 Go forward and do great things with cutting-edge platforms and technology, integrate with SOF’s finest entities, and always be ready to bring offense/defense to our oppositions and back safely to your families! Here are five pointers for new SWCCs: 1.) Be Aggressive. Become the hardest worker in the Detachment: Raise your hand for every opportunity you can physically, mentally, and emotionally can handle. 2.) Own your 3ft of space: whatever your jobs or responsibilities are, crush it! Professionalize, organize and be squared away in every dimension of that job or responsibility. Example: If you are a Gunner like most new SWCCs are, become the most skilled and respected Gunner in the Troop. 3.) Keep your priorities/values in check: Mine were always God, Health, Family, Team, and Mission. The others are all interchangeable next to God, always the highest priority. The tricky part is figuring out which one at that given moment is the most important. However, they must all be prioritized to be successful in the long term. 4.) Human Performance is the Foundation of success for every Special Operator: It will produce a career with longevity for every Tactical Athlete. Don’t ever get “Complacent” with your Training. If you do, it will be transferred over Tactically and in everything else you do. 5.) Respect yourself, respect your leaders, respect your subordinates, and your teammates. If you have a problem with somebody, get to know them better! Find common ground, and find a way to respect each other. Lastly, be proud of your hard work, community heritage, and the freedom to do God's work so American citizens can continue to enjoy their daily freedoms. 🇺🇸
