Stirling Council have created instructions for businesses to be able to add the Stirling 900 tag to their event listings with Data Thistle. A new main category tag for all events relating to the celebration of Stirling’s 900 anniversary as a burgh. Using this feature will allow your event listing to appear on the Stirling 900 page of the Your Stirling website. The process for adding this tag is as simple as clicking a button. Instructions: •Create a free account with Data Thistle •Click add a new event listing – Start by entering your event title •Click Continue - Now begin adding the rest of your information – Event description, where & when, venue etc… •Categorisation – select the ‘Stirling 900’ tag under Main Categories (Please note this tag is only visible in Main Categories selection on the bespoke Your Stirling event upload page, accessed on the Your Stirling website) •If you are uploading an event through the Data Thistle website’s generic Add an Event upload page, you will need to ensure you put ‘Stirling 900’ in the Additional keywords section. Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending the second day of the Sydney Build Expo, Australia's largest construction and design show. I was thoroughly impressed by the advanced integration of technology in the field. Particularly, the use of #computervision, #drones, and #LiDAR for detailed and accurate #3D_scanning , #gis and monitoring of construction progress stood out. Additionally, the application of #VR and #AR in interior design is transforming the customization process, making the design of homes more tangible and engaging. However, it raises an important question: Are these sophisticated technologies just eye-catching designs, or do they truly offer a financially viable alternative to traditional methods with tangible benefits such as cost savings and increased efficiency? While claims of enhanced efficiency and precision are widespread, the real test will be their performance against the myriad challenges of real-world applications. Looking forward to seeing how these innovative technologies evolve and prove their worth in practical scenarios. #sydneybuildexpo #technology #sydney
