To those in my network, that are active in Organ-on-Chip / Microphysiological Systems: please read this call for experts by Suzie Noten , my colleague at NEN!
📢 Experts wanted for Dutch Standards Committee Microphysiological Systems and Organ-on-Chip: information session 08 Nov 2024 NEN has established the Dutch Standards Committee on Microphysiological Systems (MPS) and Organ-on-Chip (OoC), and Dutch experts in this field are invited to join. Contact me for more information (suzie.noten@nen.nl). The goal of this Dutch Standards committee is to bring Dutch MPS and OoC experts together, such as scientists, biologists, engineers, policy makers, manufacturers and suppliers to represent the Netherlands in international standardisation. The project is part of Biomed | NXTGEN Hightech, the National Growth Fund, with the ambition of bringing the Netherlands to the top internationally. MPS and OoC represent a rapidly growing and innovative field. Currently, there is a lack of standardised protocols and guidelines within the MPS and OoC domain. Standards can support the reproducibility and comparability of results and the interoperability of various MPS and OoC components and systems, thereby supporting innovation and scalable production.
