We're building the world's largest multistakeholder, multidisciplinary network in Responsible Tech at All Tech Is Human! Check out this inspiring community that is united around a mission to tackle thorny tech & society issues and co-create a tech future aligned with the public interest. When I started All Tech Is Human in 2018, there was a pressing need for an organization to be a connective tissue for the hundreds of orgs and thousands of individuals working toward a better tech future. Together, we are stronger. Today we have over 550 people in our working groups, 9k people across 90 countries in our Slack, 400 people in our current mentorship program (over 1k people have gone through), a weekly livestream series, and have held dozens of in-person gatherings that have brought together thousands of people (23 gatherings last year). If you are looking to get involved with the Responsible Tech movement, we have a place for you. Hard problems require collective understanding and action, which is why we have a wide range of activities (both in-person and virtual) that bring together thousands of people across the globe to understand values, tensions, trade-offs, and best practices. You always hear that knowledge is power. Half true but ok. The key 🔑 to knowledge (in what ever the sphere) is education. Training is the link 🔗 between education and knowledge, opening a world of opportunities and possibilities. To some, Mr. circle #JeremyAllaire just spoke English in mathematics. Others get it 💯 or at least enough to know that the technology is already here and working. #Circle and #Tether differ from many companies in the space. They seem to have found STABILITY in an extremely VOLATILE climate. Word to the wise: Take Note! Of course, there are pros and cons to everything, but I’d rather take my Mother on a nice long car drive 🚖 instead of 6 flags on a ferris wheels 🎡. Some people can’t take too much excitement. Some smart folks and I are trying to liven up the meetup community in the corridor! There is a lot happening in tech these days. ...Layoffs ...AI ...Musk-Bots Around it all, teams across the corridor are still doing the day-to-day work. Eastern Iowa has individuals and teams across all levels of experience and maturity. Let's use that to help each other succeed. Our group wants to start a larger initiative to bring all of us together and help propel the corridor forward. A strong network of peers we can lean on to leverage the group think tank. There's problems your team has that somebody else has already worked through. There's perspectives out here your team doesn't have access to. Now more than ever, product development is a team effort. I encourage all levels to attend: Leaders, Developers, Architects, Designers, it takes all of us to build a successful product. The best way to begin is by beginning. Huge shout out to Mike Kosikas here who let me talk his ear off, and then do the work on driving this!

🥂 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 2️⃣ 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃2 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞! 🎉 About two years ago, Nastie reached out to me several times via LinkedIn, asking if I wanted to join their events. At first, I wasn’t interested. I was skeptical and convinced I didn’t need an extra networking group. Also, I wasn’t looking for another job, so how could it benefit me? However, Nastie didn’t give up and kept asking me. Eventually, I gave in and joined an event — just to make her happy 😃. Since then, this tech-community and its events have kept surprising me. By now, I can honestly say I am glad I gave in and became an active member of the D2 collective. At every event, they manage to get industry leaders and subject matter experts from the biggest tech companies to smaller start-ups and scale-ups on their panel, discussing and informing us on trending and relevant topics in the tech industry. All with the mission to give us food for thought, challenge us, and inspire us to keep on learning.
