Attracting and hiring high performing Salesforce sales professionals is hard 😑 I regularly speak to Leaders from Salesforce partners who say “We are looking for top Sales people who have strong relationships with AE’s at Salesforce”.. but when I ask: “Why would someone who is performing well with another partner, by utilising their relationships at Saleforce, want to leave their current role to join here?”… it often takes the hiring manager by surprise.. There of course are reasons Salespeople may want to leave one role for another, like: 📍A better delivery team and more support through sales cycles 📍Better brand and positioning in market 📍Larger deal sizes and opportunities 📍Better career opportunities and progression 📍Higher pay, commission and benefits 📍Mentors to learn from But if you are hiring for a Salesforce sales role (or any role for that matter), don’t just think about what you need from them.. really think about what they can gain from joining you. Are you aware of any openings or opportunities? Greater Atlanta onsite, hybrid or globally remote presales (or post sales roles). Especially in CRM, Marketing, HR, QA and Insurance solutions. I wanted to take a break from my series for a post in direct question for assistance. I’ve come to understand many of you connected to me, may or may not know about the training program I did last year through PreSales Academy which equips train those looking to enter into presales. As I’m aware that presales is “not an entry level job” many people still have successfully made the transition into the space. I have created content showcasing my abilities to be a successful contributor in the space. I wanted to see if anyone is aware of companies that are hiring or opportunities to come. I am a cohort 7 grad from March ‘23. I have been a QA engineer for a couple years. I’m interested in connecting with those who may be aware of possible openings. (No, there are no options for an internal move especially as I am laid off) I’ve been at this search for a year almost and have attempted to follow any lead of advice I’ve been given. Ive shown my commitment to the process, ability to be coached and a positive attitude in the face of adversity. If it truly is a timing thing then I appreciate that. I won’t whine I’ll keep working. I’d appreciate your assistance or ideas and especially openings you’re aware of.
