Youth involvement in climate change adaptation is no longer optional. On Monday’s thematic day on Human Capital / Children and Youth / Health / Education at #COP29, the Official Youth Constituency of the UNFCCC released The Global Youth Statement: Declaration for Climate Justice. The statement calls on Parties to prioritize age-responsive climate plans, meaningful engagement in climate action planning, and increased climate financing for youth. At Pathfinder, we know that youth are our present and future. They have the most at stake, as they watch the frequency and severity of climate change disasters worsen throughout their lives. Through meaningful collaboration with youth activists—as outlined in the Global Youth Statement—we can work toward a brighter future for all of us. We asked our Pathfinder experts in adolescents and youth to weigh in on the statement and the livestreamed dialogues as part of our #COP29WatchParty. See below for their 3 key takeaways… and share your thoughts on youth inclusion in climate action with us in the comments. ✅ Only 2.4% of climate financing currently reaches children and youth. At COP29—the “Finance COP”—it’s imperative that world leaders provide direct access to climate finance for youth-led organizations and youth-focused initiatives. ✅ Access to accurate, reliable information about climate change is key for building climate resilience and advancing adaptation efforts. Climate change education must be integrated into school curricula to foster young people’s innovative climate solutions. ✅ Partnerships and alliances among organizations, governments, NGOs, and businesses are crucial for driving collaborative climate action, supporting youth-led advocacy campaigns and initiatives, creating platforms for intergenerational dialogue, and advancing intergenerational equity. How can NGOs like Pathfinder better collaborate with youth-led organizations? What are your strategies for engaging with youth-led organizations for climate action? What youth-led organizations inspire you?

The question is before the youth, It's all about nature and the natural environment crisis in this 21st century! And all about future needs! What science says, and what science teaches to human and what humans learn from science, and what's humans achievements from science, and what science destroyed the earth's recycling patterns❓ This program I do is not only to create awareness but also a small opportunity to think against future crises! Young people should wake up, young people should think, young people should try to save this earth, and this education we are studying should save our village, we should save our town, we should save our home and our land as well, that's why once a week I am taking awareness program in the villages as well as in the state areas, schools, colleges, among the youth as well as the adults. Will you support me or stand with me❓ Weekly program...
