This is especially true in larger organizations, where established procedures and hierarchies create resistance, making it harder to implement widespread change. However, we know that change is crucial for the growth and future success. Companies that fail to embrace change risk falling behind competitors and becoming irrelevant. So the real question is: what can leaders do to unlock change at scale? Our recent webinar discusses these challenges and more. Check out this exclusive clip from our webinar for a sneak peek of the insights and strategies we shared. Click the link below to catch the full session on-demand. https://ow.ly/TIul50SbexJ

Leave nothing to chance. Leading Change means putting all the building blocks in place so that day one starts as you intend to continue. This chart is adapted from the work of Dr Chris Braakman. Having done multiple transformations over 30 years, the best ones always follow this chart and support every part of the change value chain. Every element of change needs to be addressed, and solved through the eyes of customers, people, shareholders. Don't go skinny. Don't underestimate what needs to be done. Don't go lean on communication. Don't miss the core data sets. If the change is important enough, then support it enough.

Peter Drucker's famous quote, "Culture eats strategy for breakfast," highlights the importance of organizational culture over strategy alone. What is strategy, what does strategic management entail, and why do we need it? Why might organizations avoid strategic programs? Dr. Homayoon Nassimi explored these critical questions in his "Strategic Management" course. Nassimi defined strategy as "grand plans to achieve long-term goals." However, these plans are only effective when translated into smaller, actionable steps. Often, organizational managers fail to implement their strategies successfully because they do not document their plans, relying instead on memory. He explained that strategic management consists of three key stages: strategy formulation, implementation, and evaluation. He stressed that developing a strategic plan requires examining three layers: Macro, Micro, and Organizational. Understanding and applying strategic management principles is vital for achieving long-term organizational success. By clearly documenting and systematically implementing strategic plans, organizations can navigate complex environments and reach their goals effectively. Nasimi's insights offer valuable guidance for anyone looking to enhance their strategic management skills and drive their organization toward sustained success. #Petrofarda #DanaEnergy #OilandGasMBA #reWise #StrategicManagement Petrofarda Dana Energy www.petrofarda.com

Great keynote from Nadia Ness and Anne Burt at the Business Change and Transformation conference today. Key challenges for #changeleaders are currently: - Remaining the diplomat and leading what can be a lonely journey of transformation - Avoiding rabbit holes and taking time to ‘look up and out’ at the destination, and taking time to re-energize and refresh on the way - Creating a safe environment for learning and talent development - Don’t kick the can down the road - make the hard decisions how and ‘swallow the frog’ - Dealing with the upcoming business uncertainty in terms of changing visions and desired business benefits (remaining focused and flexible) Ultimately transformation leaders have to remember the goal is to ‘Deliver better for the future’ (and to develop a networks of supporters in and out of their organizations). #change #transformation
