🍁🛩️👩✈️ The Canadian Air Force is set to receive 32 advanced training aircraft from German and Swiss manufacturers under contracts with two major suppliers. SkyAlyne, the Ontario-based joint venture of CAE and KF Aerospace, has partnered with Germany’s H3 Grob Aircraft SE to procure 23 G 120TP systems, with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2025. 🇺🇸 🇻🇳 The Vietnam Air Defence Air Force has taken delivery of its first batch of Textron Aviation T-6C Texan II aircraft ordered from the US, a first since the end of the Vietnam War in 1975. Five of the 12 aircraft ordered in 2021 were handed over at the Phan Thiet air base, with the remainder to be delivered by 2025 to modernize Vietnam’s pilot training program. 💡 The historic delivery reflects Hanoi's efforts to diversify defense partnerships amid rising regional tensions and aligns with the 2023 US-Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

🇩🇰⚡️ Denmark has contracted Scandinavian Avionics A/S - HQ of The SA Group to modernize the air force’s Saab T-17 high-wing military training aircraft. The agreement covers the replacement of the fleet’s analog cockpit with digital components, including wireless data transfer, engine indication, newer air traffic control transponders, and communications tools. “This is a very ambitious project, and we are proud and honoured to partner with the Danish Air Force to lift the aerial capacity to the next level,” Scandinavian Avionics CEO Michael R. Embraer and Saab have been working as partners since 2014, when the Brazilian Government signed the contract to supply the Brazilian Air Force with 36 Gripen aircraft, which included not only the aircraft, but also logistical support, support systems, simulators, training, and development. With the MOU signed in 2023, both companies reaffirmed their collaboration, now including the promotion of the C-390 Millennium as the preferred solution to meet the Swedish Air Force tactical air transport requirements.
