I will be attending the START Summit in St. Gallen, Switzerland, on March 21st and 22nd, an essential conference for early-stage startups, renowned for its international speakers and focus on technological innovation. My objective is to delve into the European investing ecosystem to discover strategies and insights that could be applied to advancing social impact ventures in Africa. Specifically, I am interested in technologies that have the potential to address Africa's most pressing problems and how these innovations can be implemented effectively within the continent. My intention is to meet with strategic partners, advisors, investors, as well as organizations and NGOs committed to social impact, who are exploring opportunities in Africa's unique market. Additionally, I aim to engage with founders innovating at the intersection of technology and social change, to discuss collaborative efforts that can drive sustainable development in Africa. While in Switzerland, I am eager to expand my network to include stakeholders focused on leveraging technology for social good, discussing European investment models and entrepreneurship strategies that can be adapted to bolster Africa’s social and economic landscape.
