Then the surroundings seamlessly change, and a vibrant, dynamic Mini VR world appears in the car windows. 🌍 Despite the virtual landscapes, the driver retains full awareness of their physical surroundings thanks to feeds from external cameras. This enhances the visual appeal of the drive and easily integrates with the car’s real-world navigation. 🔬 Currently, this technology is used within the BMW Group for various tests and evaluations, including user studies to improve automated driving systems.
